Abstract: Sebbene la microarchitettura dei tumori sia in genere assai=0D
irregolare, sono state osservate strutture cilindriche di cellule che=0D
crescono attorno a vasi sanguigni della vascolatura tumorale. Queste=0D
strutture (corde tumorali) appaiono spesso circondate da regioni di necro=
si.=0D
Verra' illustrata la formulazione di un modello matematico delle corde=0D
tumorali che ne possa descrivere l'evoluzione sotto l'azione di un agente=
=0D
citotossico. Il modello, continuo e in simmetria cilindrica, tiene conto=0D
della proliferazione e morte della cellule, del conseguente moto cellular=
e,=0D
del consumo dell'ossigeno e della sua diffusione dal vaso centrale. Il mo=
to=0D
dei fluidi interstiziali e' descritto in maniera approssimata mediante le=

medie longitudinale della velocita' radiale e del campo di pressione.=0D
